854,418. Paper bags. WINKLER, R., and DUNNEBIER, K. Nov. 19, 1958 [Dec. 12, 1957], No. 37183/58. Class 94(2). A flat bag comprising separate tubular lengths 6 having a longitudinal seam and closed at one end by a strip of adhesive tape 8 folded lengthwise and provided with a strip 10 of adhesive tape at the other end forming a closing flap is made as shown from a paper strip 1 formed by folding and sticking devices 2, 3 into a tube 4 from which lengths 6 are cut and fed to devices for applying adhesive tape strips 8, 10 which are severed at 11. In a modification separate blanks are severed from a strip and creased lengthwise and sealed to form the tubular blank lengths 6.
