337,517. Cornell Multi-Wall Valve Bag- Co. May 20, 1929, [Convention date]. Paper and like bags; sacks. - The valve operung of a valve bag of the single or multiply type is reinforced with a strip 15 of cambric, paper, or the like, which is secured by means of adhesive to the inner faces of the side flaps 14 before they are folded over, and extends across the outer faces of the inwardly folded end flaps 12. The bag is made up in the form of a tube, and is slit at the edges 13 to form the end and side flaps. In the case of multiply bags, the folds 14 are interleaved. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 318,968.
