Class 87(1) A wall panel comprises frame members 1 extending perpendicular to rigid covering sheets 2, and intermediate sheets 3 of porous wall board or arranged obliquely between adjacent frame members. The sheets 3 may have staggered grooves in their opposite faces and adjacent pairs of the sheets may be formed integrally from a single bent sheet. Each covering sheet 2 comprises hard wall board, or plywood or a combination of these materials with the wall board forming the surface layer.
