850,772. Refrigerators. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. Jan. 25, 1957 [Jan. 31, 1956], No. 3053/56. Class 29 In a refrigerator cabinet, the evaporator 6 depends from the roof of the cabinet, is formed so as to enclose a freezing space, and has a rear wall 6b attached by a latch so that the wall may either be positioned flush with the adjacent walls of the freezing space or against the rear cabinet wall in order to promote a flow of air through the freezing space and the storage compartment. The front door 6a of the freezing space is not normally tight closing but may have air vents. The rear wall may be hinged along its top edge to the evaporator preferably when the freezing space is open or not refrigerated at the top.
