Abstract

849,675. Centrifugally moulding tyre parts. ALWEG-FORSCHUNG G.m.b.H. March 21, 1957 [March 27, 1956], No. 9280/57. Class 87(2). [Also in Group XXXIV] An emergency running ring of thermoplastic material (see Group XXXIV) is centrifugally cast into an envelope 16 within a pneumatic tyre 9, by locating the beads of the tyre respec - tively on two axially spaced cylinders 26, 29 which are attached (bolted) as shown, directly and by arms 30 respectively, to a rotatable disc 24 the plastic material being introduced through the space between the cylinders. The cylinders 26, 29 carry bead locating rings 28, 31 respectively.
