[Also in Group XXXII] A caster wheel mounting for a side delivery hay rakes has means resisting the swinging of the wheel out of the line of draught. A caster wheel 10 is rotatively mounted on a post 11 pivotally mounted in spaced bearings 12, 13. An annular abutment member 19 is prevented from turning about the axis of the post 11 by an arm 19a with a forked end engaging part of a fixed framework 14 but is allowed to move vertically against a spring 16 which holds the abutment in contact with a second abutment in the form of pins 17 extending from the post 11. The spring 16 also transmits the weight of the vehicle to the wheel 10. The spring 16 tends to hold the pins 17 in grooves 23 on the underside of the abutment 19 and thus to resist movement of the wheel 10 from a predetermined angular position until turning of the wheel is sufficient to force the pins 17 out of the grooves 23 on to a flat surface of the abutment 19.
