Class 44 In a sliding clasp fastener the end portions of each tape comprise two layers of tape of the same quality bonded together by a layer of a polyamide or vinyl resin, an end member being fixed to one end portion of each tape. The layer of resin is liquefied by the application of heat to bond the tapes together.
