843,785. Capacitors. KONDESATORENWERK FREIBERG VEB. Sept. 27, 1956, No. 29553/56. Class 37. A roll-type capacitor having as dielectric an oxide layer electrolytically formed on an electrode of aluminium, magnesium &c. has the pores in the dielectric filled by applying a silicone lacquer. The lacquer is applied in several stages, the concentration increasing at each stage. After each application the coating is heated to temperatures up to 250‹C. to fix the lacquer. Over the insulation a metal coating may be applied which may serve as the second electrode or as an intermediate conducting layer.
