[Also in Group XXIV] A D-shaped socket in the end of a driving- shaft 2 of a clothes wringer, which receives the complementary end of a handle 9, comprises a part-cylindrical sleeve 3, integral with the shaft 2 and having a knurled outer surface and flats 4 against which a part-cylindrical key 5 is held by a force-fitted gear-wheel 6.
