Folding mangles and wringers. - In folding mangles and wringers of the type in which a turnover gear wheel C is brought into and out of gear with a mutilated gear wheel D, the gear wheel C is, as is usual, keyed or otherwise fixed to the bottom roller shaft E but the sprocket or gear wheel F between the turnover wheel and the flywheel is slidingly fitted to the shaft and provided with clutch driving surfaces f to engaging corresponding surfaces c on the turnover wheel. This enables an easier dismantling of the bottom roller.
