Abstract

841,596. Bracelets. MONTAL WATCH FITTINGS Ltd. Aug. 29, 1958 [Dec. 17, 1957], No. 39278/57. Class 43 [Also in Group XXV] An expansible bracelet comprises pairs of links 13, 14 having a central pivot 15 containing a coiled spring 16 which urges the links to retracted position in contact, one end of the link 14 having as a pivot a rivet 22 which engages in a hole 20 in an adjacent link 13 and the other end of the link 14 having a headed pin 21 which engages in a keyhole slot 19 in a link 13 and is retained therein by a latch having a spring jaw 25 engaging the pivot 15 and a slot 27 engaging the pin 21. The latch has a spring link 30 at one side of the slot produced by a slot 28 and hole 29 below the link. A lug 31 on the latch is provided for operating the latch. A bracelet may comprise a series of detachable link assemblies. A link may have two keyhole slots and two latches on the same or separate pivots on one or both links.
