841,381. Moulding trays for packing fruit. MARTELLI, G., MARTELLI, N., and MARTELLI, F. Oct. 29, 1957 [Oct. 31, 1956], No. 33787/57. Class 18. A fruit-packing tray of thermoplastic material is shaped to present a number of bowl-shaped or inverted frusto-conical seats 2, the walls of which have longitudinal channels 4 formed by outward bulges. As shown the seats 2 are surrounded by a number of hollow triangular projections 3 and the channels 4 terminate lower than the projections 3 to facilitate venting. The top of each projection 3 may be its thickest part and its side walls may be ribbed. The tray may be made from a polyvinyl resin or polyacrylate resin sheet having a thickness of from 0À1 to 0À3 mm.
