Abstract
928,113. Confectionery trays. G. KAUPERT, [trading as KAUPERT KOMM.-GES.]. Jan. 4, 1961 [Jan. 9, 1960; Feb. 19, 1960; May 16, 1960], No. 325/61. Class 18. A tray, e.g. for confectionery, designed to be inserted into a package, has a number of depressions shaped to accommodate various sizes and shapes of confectionery, the bottom surface of each depression being provided with a protruberance e of similar shape but slightly smaller than the depression so as to provide a ledge on which the confectionery is supported. The ledges are formed at various heights so that the various sizes of confectionery present a uniform appearance, Fig. 2. The tray is moulded from plastics material bonded to thin aluminium foil; the plastics material may be coloured.. The sides and bottom of the protruberances may be corrugated or ribbed for strength while the surfaces between the depressions may be decorated, e.g. to represent animals, flowers or additional confectionery.
