Spaced chocolates 3 or other articles are moulded to a plate 1 with projections 2 which extended into the mould cavities when the articles were formed, and the articles and plate are packaged together. The plate may be of synthetic plastics, metal, paper or cardboard and may be covered with foil. Convex portions between the chocolates 3 may stiffen the plate and the chocolates may be arranged in parallel rows or irregularly. The projections may be hollow, they may have roughened surfaces, and they may be circular or polygonal prisms, or formed as frustrated cones with impressions in the end surfaces.
