Abstract

1,253,155. Packaging ampoules and bottles/ boxes. O. HOFLIGER, and R. KARG, [trading as HOFLIGER & KARG]. 3 Dec., 1969 [19 Dec., 1968], No. 58960/69. Headings B8C and B8P. A casing has hingedly connected parts 1, 2 formed with staggered recesses 3, 4 each shaped to hold an article such as an ampoule 5 or a bottle 6, the article being retained in the recess by a nose 7 or 8. The recesses 3 are enlarged adjacent to the bases of the ampoules 5 and are provided with locating ribs 12, further locating ribs 14 being provided adjacent to the heads of the ampoules. The casing-parts 1, 2 have cooperating press-stud-like fastening elements 16, 17 recesses 18, 19, serving as fingerholds, and projections 20, 21 which facilitate stacking.
