Abstract

841,096. Magnetic endless conveyers. BUCCICONI ENGINEERING CO. Inc. Sept. 2, 1958 [June 13, 1958], No. 28116/58. Class 78 (1). An endless conveyer which holds and conveys metal sheets magnetically has two endless belts 26 running over rollers 28 mounted on a housing 16 fixed in stationary framework 10, 11, and between each pair of rollers is disposed an electromagnet 36 energized by coil 35. Each magnet 36 has an extension 39. The bottoms of extensions 39 and of housing 16 are tapered, as shown, to guide the tapered edges of the belts 26.
