839,960. Wells. BUTLER, G. A. Oct. 17, 1957 [July 26, 1957], No. 32497/57. Class 85 A completion for a parallel bore dual well has an adapter 70 permitting auxiliary equipment 83 to be connected with one or other of the bores, the adapter comprising a flange 71 connectible to the completion in two positions spaced at 180 degrees, a connecting bore 76 and a flange 77 connectible to the equipment. Tubing 11, 12 is supported by a hanger device 16, according to Specification 839,959, in a tubing head 10 mounted on a casing head (not shown). A valve assembly 20, according to Specification 829,293 and having valve chambers 35, 38, is mounted on the tubing head and has its bores 25, 26 respectively connected to the tubing 11, 12. In the position of the adapter shown the bore 26 is connected to the equipment, and the bore 25 is connected to a sampling or testing tube 106, but in the other position of the adapter the bore 25 is connected to the equipment and the bore 26 is connected to the tube 106. The equipment, which may be a " lubricator," may be replaced by a plate blanking-off the bore 76.
