Abstract
The invention comprises thiophosphoric esters of formula <FORM:0839897/IV (b)/1> where R1 and R2 are C1-4 alkyl. They are prepared by reacting salts of O,O-dialkylthiolphosphoric acids with halothioacetic acid amides. Specified salts are the alkali metal and ammonium salts; specified halo-derivatives are the chloro- and bromo-compounds. Temperatures up to 70 DEG C. are mentioned. An inert solvent may be used. Specification 663,270 is referred to.ALSO:Insecticidal compositions comprise a thiophosphoric acid ester of formula <FORM:0839897/VI/1> where R1 and R2 are C1-4 alkyl (for preparation see Group IV (b)). The usual carriers and additives may be used and other insecticides or pesticides may be present. Specification 663,270 is referred to.
