[Also in Group X] A draught excluder strip for a vehicle door is made by placing an extruded base 16 of hard rubber into a mould of the shape of the whole strip, together with a sheet of rubber 19. Sponge rubber compound is then injected into the mould and the whole 'cooked" so that the rubber sheet 19 forms a sheath for the sponge rubber tongue 18 and is united with the base 16.
