Abstract

1 : 4 - Di - (p - cyclohexylphenylamino) - anthraquinone is sulphonated in the absence of electrolytes which contain metallic or ammonium ions and anions of an acid and the free disulphonic acid is precipitated by the addition of water to the reaction medium. An example is given.
