Abstract

In a disinfectant containing iodine, complex bound to non-ionic surface-active agents, preferably polyglycol ethers, the iodine complex is absorbed on a dry mixture of a basic salt and an acid salt or an acid. Preferably the basic salts are hydrogen carbonates, carbonates or phosphates and the acid salts or acids are hydrogen sulphate, sulfamic acid or sulphonic acid.
