A two-seater submarine vessel comprising two spaced streamlined struts 1a and 1b each adapted to be mounted by a diver. The diver is stretched out on top of the shell 1a or 1b with his armpits located on the handlebars 2, the saddle 4 is gripped between his thighs and his feet actuate the rocker bar 12. The handlebars 2 and saddle 4 are secured to the shell by clips 5 and are adjustable to the height of the diver. The shells 1a and 1b are connected together at the front by a streamlined cross member 7 provided with openings 9 at each end through which clips 11 extend and connect to the corresponding shell. Disposed between the shells 1a and 1b is a third shell 16 which carries the propulsion unit and has at its rear end a propeller enclosed by the cowling 18. The shells 1a and 1b and 16 are joined together by two braces with openings 25 and slots 26 and 27. The clips 28 and 29 secure the assembly together. The hydroplanes 31a, 31b and 24 and the rudder 22 are adapted to be manually controlled simultaneously by the two divers. The hydroplanes 31a and 31b are actuated, differentially, by means of the control stick 30 having handles 32a and 32b as also is the hydroplane 24 via the connecting box 58, lever 59, cables 60 and lever 62 giving a rotational movement to the hydroplane about the spindle 23. The rudder 22 is caused to rotate about the shaft 21 by movement of the rocker bar 12 via the endless cable 63, pulleys 13, 64 and the rod'65. The shells 1a and 1b can serve as storage space for equipment and the controls of the propulsion unit. The control stick 30 can be replaced by two control sticks connected by a deformable parallelogram devices. Provision can be made for shutting off one set of propulsion unit controls so that the second diver is only a passenger.
