834,097. Roller blinds. ARTISTIC BLIND CO. Ltd. Oct. 16, 1958 [Oct. 18, 1957], No. 32648/57. Class 20(3) Sun blinds, in which the blind 15 hangs vertically when lowered, and is secured at one end to a blind roller 14 mounted within a housing 12, and at the other end to a lath 20 which is supported by two blind arms pivotally mounted within and at each end of the housing 12 and adapted to be wholly within the housing 12 when the blind is raised, have at each end of the housing a mounting comprising two spaced supports 6 each releasably mounting a blind arm and another mounting 9 vertically above the supports 6 and having a slot opening downwardly and inwardly to receive a mounting pin on the end of the blind roller. Each blind arm comprises two articulated members 18, 19, the upper ends of members 19 being transversely bored to receive the central enlarged cylindrical portions of spindles whose outer reduced portions, square in cross-section, are held within the slotted supports 6 by means of bolts inserted through the apertures 8. The mounting pin at each end of the roller 14 is held within the mounting 9 by a bolt passing through the apertures 11.
