A machine for use as a seed planter and/or fertilizer distributer comprises a rotatable cup 5 provided with an opening 10 through which flows material from a hopper 1<SP>1</SP> the material being distributed through ports 8, a container 23 for a second material being provided, the container discharging material into a second rotatable cup 26 provided with an adjustable opening 29 through which material flows to join the material in the cup 5.
