Abstract

831,884. Two-part couplings. PALMBLAD, B. March 25, 1957 [Nov. 15, 1956; March 11, 1957], No. 9706/57. Class 38(1). In a plug - and - socket connector comprising outer sleeves 1, 2 surrounding insulating contact - carrying blocks 3, 4 and 5, the sleeves are provided with an interengaging projection 9 and recesses 8, Fig. 2, whilst each sleeve and its respective block or blocks are provided with an interengaging projection 6 and recesses 7, Fig. 4, respectively. These latter may be reversed if desired (Fig. 5, not shown). Thus a number of angular positions are provided for the contact carriers for a given fixed relative angular position of the sleeves. Guiding projections and recesses may be provided alternately on the two sleeves.
