Class 97(1) The contact lens has one zone 1 adapted to correct for "distance" vision and another zone 2 adapted for "reading" vision, the latter occupying the outer part of the lens. The area of the central zone occupies approximately half the average area of the pupil 7 and the area of the whole lens is slightly larger than the largest area of the pupil. A third zone may be introduced between the other two to correct for vision at about one metre from the eye.
