Abstract

Colour discrimination is improved in a person deficient in it by use of a thin corneal contact lens transmitting only red light, on one eye only. The lens is pref. of a polymethacrylate resin, and has 14-40% light transmission, and none below 590 m mu. The other eye is left uncovered except for optional spectacles, and/or a conventional contact lens, for refractive correction.
