Class 120(2) A spinning and twisting machine has a single traversing element extending longitudinally of the machine and connected by flexible elements to ring and lappet rails. The traversing element is constituted by a rock shaft 1 that is connected by flexible bands or chains 7, 10 with cradles 4, 8 carrying ring and lappet rails 6, 9. The cradle 8 travels at a lower speed and through a shorter distance than the cradle 4. Specification 18507/10 is referred to.
