Abstract
830,602. Walls and ceilings. BRITISH PLASTER BOARD (MANUFACTURING) Ltd. July 10, 1956 [June 10, 1955], No. 16826/55. Class 20(4) In an internal wall or ceiling construction in which building panels 16, 17 are assembled in alignment with one another, the joints between adjacent panels are concealed by the use of paper strips 10 which taper in thickness transversely in both directions to a feather edge at each edge of the strip and which have substantially the same surface characteristics as the panels so that on painting the panels and strips, the appearance of both is similar. There may be a central constant thickness portion to each strip 10 or this may be omitted. The feather edges of the strips 10 may be deckled.
