Abstract

829,700. Holders for thermionic valves. UNITED-CARR FASTENER CORPORATION. Oct. 4, 1957 [Nov. 21, 1956], No. 31217/57. Class 38 (1). A holder for a valve or similar device comprises a solid insulating body 11 on which is mounted a plurality of contacts 12 having slotted projecting terminal pins comprising two resilient legs 22, 23 with inclined edges 24, 27, 28 to facilitate the entry and subsequent location in printed circuit conductors 13 to which they are soldered, on one or both sides of a panel 10. The contacts are secured to the body 11 by any suitable means, the body having a central locating hole and earthing contact. The edges 27 space the holder above the panel 10 which may be of any thickness. The slot 21 may be parallel or outwardly divergent.
