Abstract

793,871. Terminal boards; mounting terminals. CARR FASTENER CO., Ltd. May 11, 1956 [May 23, 1955], No. 14869/55. Class 38(1). Rod-like contacts 5 are mounted in bores 3 in an insulating strip 1 by first forming projections 6, Fig. 5, adjacent one end of each rod and, after inserting the rod in the bore until said projections engage recesses 4 in the wall of the bore to prevent rotation of the contact, forming further projections 7 adjacent the other end of the rod which abut the opposite end of the bore. The strip 1 is mounted on a panel a by forcing lock washers 10 over one or more bosses 2 on one side of the strip which are passed through apertures 11 in the panel.
