Abstract
828,397. Rack stands. MORANDI, E. March 27, 1958 [Aug. 3, 1957; Oct. 21, 1957], No. 9827/58. Class 52(3) A dismountable wire rack consists of article supporting elements such as baskets C (Figs. 2 and 3) or bottle &c. rack shelves H (Fig. 7) and, at each side support members E or I, the parts being interengaged by horizontally sliding male runners on one part into female runners on another part. As shown in Figs. 2 and 3, the under side of the basket is fitted with male runners 1 and these take into female runners 2 on the top of members E. The lower end of members E have female runners 2<SP>1</SP> lying in vertical planes and receiving male runners 1<SP>1</SP> fixed to the sides of the baskets. In a modification the runners 1<SP>1</SP>, 2<SP>1</SP> lie in horizontal planes and in a further modification, the lower end of the members E are formed as elongated spigots taking into apertures defined at the sides of the baskets by wires spaced therefrom. As shown in Fig. 7, each rack shelf H has fixed thereto a pair of members I formed at their tops and bottoms with female and male runners 5, 6 respectively so that the units can be mounted in superposed relation.
