Class 108(1) The main hoop-stick 11 of a folding hood is of inverted U-shape and is connected by telescopic joints at the lower ends of the free arms to members 19 pivoted at 22 to the vehicle body. When the hood is erected the joints are normally fully collapsed but when the hood is folded the joints are extended so that a part of the hood may be stowed under a panel at the rear of the vehicle a pin 20 secured to the tubular arm 11 engaging a slot in the member 18 to limit the. relative movement.
