A package comprises a paper cover consisting of a central panel 2 formed with a window 3 and flaps 4, a loose sheet 5 of transparent film material and a cardboard reinforcement sheet 6, flat articles, e.g. gaskets, being placed between the sheets 5 and 6 and the flaps 4 then folded over the rear of the sheet 6 and secured by an adhesive label 7.
