Abstract

821,076. Tumbler switches. CRABTREE & CO. Ltd., J. A., and MORGAN, R. W. Jan. 9, 1958 [Feb. 7, 1957], No. 4204/57. Class 38 (5). In a two-way A.C. switch, the moving contacts 7, 7a are pivoted at one end on a cylindrical terminal 5 and are pressed by springs 8 against fixed contacts 6. An operating dolly has staggered cam surfaces 9a which act on the contacts 7, 7a through rollers 12 guided in slots 13 in the base 2, the dolly having recesses 9b pivoted on projections 14 on the cores 1. The terminals 5a, 5b and 5 are clamped between the cores and base in recesses therein, the casing being dustproof.
