Class 34(1) [Also in Group XII] In a process for drying an industrial gas with a liquid capable of absorbing water, the liquid is introduced in the form of a mist and at high velocity countercurrently to the gas which is flowing in a pipeline and at not more than atmospheric pressure, the liquid being subsequently separated from the gas and recovered. Liquids referred to are glycol, calcium chloride solution and sulphuric acid.
