824,832. Separating liquid particles from gases. THERMIX CORPORATION. March 10, 1958, No. 7674/58. Class 123(3) [Also in Group II] Apparatus for separating mist particles from gas comprises an agglomerating chamber 11 having a liquid outlet 15, and a separating chamber 14 connected to the agglomerating chamber and having partitions 17, 18 carrying a cyclone 20. The agglomerating chamber has a partition 12 formed of knitted metallic fabric and a dam 13 preventing larger mist particles enterng the separating chamber. The cyclone has inlets 19 and discharges gas and liquid to the chambers 22, 24 respectively. Specification 798,409 is referred to.
