Class 75(2) [Also in Group X] A flexible transparent screen for light fittings or for use in lighting systems for walls or ceilings to cover light sources which may be carried in separate fittings from the screen or for use over windows or roof lights comprises transparent strips 1, e.g. of glass or plastic sheet, plain or coloured, with smooth or figured surfaces, arranged side by side and connected by flexible strips 2 which may be of U-section as shown or of solid section such as of foam rubber or foamed plastic, or of resilient hollow form, interposed between and secured by adhesive to the adjoining edges of the transparent strips. These connecting strips 2 may also be transparent or semi-transparent and transparent adhesive may be used to connect the strips 1 to the strips 2. The solid section connecting strips may protrude beyond the surfaces of strips 2.
