Abstract

929,307. Wall panels. R. R. KELLER. Feb. 4, 1960 [Nov. 18, 1959], No. 4031/60. Class 87 (1). A panel which has interfitting framework members 22, 24 is faced on one or both sides with metal, plastic, or asbestos cement sheets 12, 30 which are backed with fibreboard, pressed paper, or foamed plastic sheets 14 secured with a flexible adhesive. The framework members are of box, I, or channel section and may be of wood, metal, or plastic, interfitted by various slots 23 and projections 25, or are of notched " egg-crate " construction. The fibreboard sheet 14 may be protected with a covering of aluminium or plastic. The various sheets may be light transmitting and suitably reinforced with paper, wire, or glass fibres.
