Class 132(1) A baby supporter and exerciser comprises a snugly fitting waist band with wide non- stretch front and back panels and elastic side pieces and a crotch band secured to the front and back panels to which panels are also secured straps which extend upwardly and are connected to a spreader, the whole supporter being suspended from a resilient suspender. As shown, waistband 10 has elastic sides 11 12 and non-stretch front and back panels 13, 14 and a crotch band 18 is secured to panel 14 at 20 and has at its opposite end cups 23 which engage over domes on panel 13. Band 18 may have a padded section 25 and may be formed of waterproof plastic or be covered by a plastic sleeve 27. The waistband is suspended from straps 30, 31 which consist of doubled ropes whose ends pass through holes in the front and back panels 13, 14 and are knotted at 33 and 38. These ropes pass respectively through swivels 36 and 41 carried on snaps 35 and 40. A cord 45 has its ends passed round the ends of a spreader 47 and carries thereon loops 48 on which snaps 35, 40 engages. A swivel 51 carrying a snap 50 is carried on cord 45 and snaps 50 engages a ring 57 on one end of a resilient suspender 55 at whose other end there is a hook 56 which engages a chain 58 which hooks over a hook 59. In a modification, Fig. 5, the straps are tapes 60, 61 whose ends are sewn to the front and back of the waistband. Loops 62, 63 on tapes 60, 61 fit over spreader 65 and are retained by stops 66. A notch 68 in the lower edge of spreader 65 locates a loop 71 at the lower end of a coil spring 70 whose upper end has a loop 73 hooked into a chain 74 suspended from a hook 75.
