Abstract

702,969. Brassieres. DAINTIFYT BRASSIERE CO., Ltd. Sept. 30, 1952 [Oct. 26, 1951], No. 25115/51. Class 141 A brassiere is provided with means whereby each shoulder strap. may be detachably secured at any of a number of positions along the upper part of the respective cup member. As shown, the cup members 1 and belt members 2 are provided with a looped edging 5 formed along the edge of a tape secured to the inner surface of the brassiere by stitching 7. The shoulder straps 10 are provided with hooks 11 to engage the edging 5 and lacing 12 secures the cups together. A pocketed tape may replace the loooed'edging 5 or each shoulder strap may be provided with a series of eyelet holes engaged by a hook at the end of the strap to provide a loop to engage the edging.
