Abstract

813,769. Chain conveyers. BLANC, R. Feb. 20, 1957 [Feb. 27, 1956], No. 5720/57. Class 104 (2). An endless chain conveyer has the links 1a, 1b bearing on the carrier walls of a polygonal covering sheath 2 the upper outer surface of which provides bearing surfaces for the rollers 12 of a load carrying trolley 3. The trolley is detachably connected with the horizontal links of the chain by a pin 11 extending from the trolley through a slot in the sheath. The trolley comprises an inverted channel member carrying the rollers 12 on a shaft 13 and a load supporting hook 16 is mounted at the end of an arm 16a secured in the upper part of the channel member. The sheath is supported by brackets 7 secured to a flange 6 on the sheath. The chain is driven by a sprocket 4 engaging a vertical link of the chain.
