Abstract
A fungicidal composition comprises an acid salt of dodecylguanidine together with a carrier which may be solid, e.g. talc, kaolin, methyl-cellulose, bentonite, fuller's earth, Attapulgite clay, pumice, silica, silicate or chalk, or an aqueous dispersion. The acid radical may be acetic, propionic, butyric, valeric, caproic, caprylic, capric, lauric, stearic, lactic, malic, maleic, phthalic, benzoic or naphthoic or an inorganic acid such as carbonic, bicarbonic, boric, hydrochloric, nitric or sulfuric. Specified salts are the acetate and borate. Specification 614,916, [Group IV (b)], is referred to.
