[Also in Group XXIX] A sight glass comprises a transparent plastic block 1 having an inlet end 2 joined to an oil supply line, an outlet end 3, a boring 4 entirely within the same block and joining the inlet and outlet ends thereof, and a blind boring 5 entirely within the block 1 and having an open end at the inlet end of the block. A float is contained in the oil boring 4 to give a positive indication of fluid flowing through the boring.
