Abstract

807,552. Over-spectacles. JAMESON Ltd., W. Nov. 12, 1956 [Aug. 24, 1955], No. 24376/55. Class 97(1) Over-spectacles have the glasses mounted in split rims connected together by a bar passing through and clamped in turbular lugs attached one to each of the ends of the rims to connect the ends of each rim together. As shown, tubular lugs 12, 13 are attached to the ends of each split rim 10, and the bar 14 is clamped in each lug either by squeezing both pairs of lugs or by squeezing one of each pair and by climping the other of each pair by grub screws. The over-spectacles are attachable to. ordinary spectacles by the hooks 17.
