Abstract

805,359. Transistor circuits. TELEFUNKEN G.m.b.H. July 11, 1957 [July 12, 1956], No. 22006/57. Class 40 (6). A transistor has the bias for one electrode (e.g. the base) obtained from a potentiometer 9, 10 and variations in the bias voltage are reduced by connecting a rechargeable battery 13 in parallel with one arm of the potentiometer and arranging that over at least part of the range of variation the battery is charged by the potentiometer. The same battery may be used for stabilizing the bias of other transistors and a switch 14, preferably controlled by the main on-off switch for the circuit, may be provided for disconnecting the battery.
