804,807. Counting-apparatus. VEEDERROOT Inc. Sept. 2, 1957 [June 27, 1957], No. 27526/57. Class 106 (1). A counter number wheel comprises a hub member 10 with a centre portion 13 of greater radius forming shoulders 18 and having recesses 15 to decrease the mass of the wheel, a number drum 20 having a radial wall 21 mounted on the hub member, a driven spur gear 28 and a driving gear 34 with a two-tooth offset driving segment 36 also mounted on the hub member, the hub member drum wall and gears being provided with aligned apertures 18, 26, 32, 38 parallel to the axis of the number wheel through which rivets 40 extend to clamp the several components together.
