804,483. Pliers. BLACKBURN & GENERAL AIRCRAFT Ltd., and BATE, L. D. Dec.21, 1956, No. 39132/56. Class 61. A tool for placing and removing circlips comprises two concentric relatively rotatable tubes 1, 2, Fig. 2 (not shown) each carrying at one end a laterally extending arm 3 provided with a pin 5 for engaging a hole in the end of a circlip. The tubes are rotated by handles 6, 7 at the ends of the tubes, the handle 6 being fixed to the outer tube 1 and the handle 7 detachably mounted on the inner tube 2, Fig. 2 (not shown). The handle 7 may be changed over from one side of the handle 6 to the other side thereof to adapt the tool to tension both external and internal circlips by squeezing the handles towards each other.
