Abstract

804,224. Machinery frames. T.M.M. (RESEARCH), Ltd. Aug. 28, 1956 [July 18, 1955], No. 20735/55. Class 80 (4). [Also in Group IX] A skeletal structure for a textile machine comprises a plurality of transverse vertical frames located at the ends of the structure and at spaced intermediate points, each adjacent pair of such vertical frames being connected at one or more levels to longitudinal members by single transverse pins passed through apertured parts of the frames to the longitudinal members. As shown, pillars 10 have bosses 12 drilled to receive cross-bars 13 which support spindle rail sections 16. Parallel sections 16 may be joined by a connecting piece at 17. Diagonal struts 18 may also be incorporated in the structure.
