Class 52(2) An auxiliary stood for use with, a dental or like chair has a base sub-assembly 3 on which is mounted a pivot post 5 surrounded by bearings 9, 11 on which a hub 13 is mounted and carrying an arm 15 connected to a telescopically adjustable post 21 carrying a seat assembly 27, the assembly 3 including a base plate 37 welded to a floor plate 59 and a strip 39 through which passes a bolt 45 to anchor the post 5 to the base place 37. A channel ring 31 engages the flange 33 of the base of the chair and a screw 47 secures it in position.
